DAY 2 – 9 SEPT, 2026
Today is dedicated to exploring Poland’s capital city. Begin with a guided tour of Warsaw’s UNESCO-listed Old Town, meticulously reconstructed after World War II, and visit the Royal Castle, once the residence of Polish kings. After lunch, experience the Warsaw Uprising Museum, an engaging and emotional tribute to the city’s wartime history. The afternoon is free for relaxation, shopping, or independent exploration, allowing you to enjoy Warsaw at your own pace.

DAY 3 – 10 SEPT, 2026
Travel east to Lublin, one of Poland’s most atmospheric and historically rich cities. Upon arrival, explore the charming Old Town, including Lublin Castle and the remarkable Holy Trinity Chapel, famous for its unique Byzantine-Ruthenian frescoes. The city’s multicultural past comes alive through its architecture and stories. In the evening, take part in hands-on culinary workshops inspired by traditional Polish cuisine, offering both cultural insight and a delicious interactive experience.

DAY 4 – 11 SEPT, 2026
Depart for Zamość, a Renaissance masterpiece often called the “ideal city” and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a guided walk through its beautifully preserved Old Town, arcaded market square, and historic fortifications, followed by lunch. Continue south to Rzeszów, a dynamic regional capital with a growing cultural scene. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to relax, explore the city center independently, or unwind after the day’s journey.

DAY 5 – 12 SEPT, 2026
Begin the day with sightseeing in Rzeszów, learning about its history and modern development. Continue to Nowy Sącz for lunch and a visit to one of Poland’s most impressive open-air ethnographic museums, showcasing traditional wooden architecture and village life from southern Poland. The journey then continues to Kraków. After checking in, enjoy free time in the early evening to stroll through the historic center or relax at a café near the Main Market Square.

DAY 6 – 13 SEPT, 2026
Discover Kraków, Poland’s former royal capital and one of Europe’s most beautiful historic cities. A guided tour includes the medieval Old Town, the Main Market Square, and Wawel Hill with its cathedral and royal castle overlooking the Vistula River. The afternoon is free for shopping, museum visits, or quiet exploration. In the evening, attend a lively folk concert featuring traditional music and costumes, offering an authentic taste of Polish cultural heritage (dinner included).

DAY 7 – 14 SEPT, 2026
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Kraków, with time for personal interests or rest. In the afternoon, travel to the nearby Wieliczka Salt Mine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Poland’s most extraordinary attractions. Descend underground to explore vast chambers, chapels carved entirely from salt, and impressive sculptures created by generations of miners. Return to Kraków in the evening, with time to reflect on this unique experience.

DAY 8 – 15 SEPT, 2026
Travel to Wadowice, the birthplace of Saint John Paul II, where you will learn about his early life and enduring legacy. Continue to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. Those interested may take part in an optional guided visit (additional cost) to this powerful and solemn site commemorating the victims of the Holocaust. In the late afternoon, proceed to the picturesque town of Żywiec, beautifully set among the Beskid Mountains.

DAY 9 – 16 SEPT, 2026
Spend the day exploring the scenic Żywiec region, known for its mountain landscapes and strong brewing traditions. Visit the famous Żywiec Brewery Museum to learn about the history of one of Poland’s best-known beers. Enjoy free time to relax, walk along the lake, or explore the town independently. In the evening, gather for a traditional outdoor campfire with sausages, local beer tasting, and a relaxed social atmosphere.

DAY 10 – 17 SEPT, 2026
Travel to Częstochowa, Poland’s spiritual heart, to visit the Jasna Góra Monastery, home to the revered icon of the Black Madonna. Continue west toward Wrocław, stopping en route at a unique bread museum, where you will join a hands-on bread-making workshop and learn about traditional baking techniques. Arrive in Wrocław in the afternoon and enjoy free time to explore the lively Old Town.

DAY 11 – 18 SEPT, 2026
In the morning, visit the magnificent Książ Castle, beautifully situated above a forested gorge and considered one of Poland’s grandest palaces. Continue to Wałbrzych for a scenic local train journey to Nowa Ruda through the Sudetes Mountains. Stroll through the town square and enjoy a coffee and cake break. Return to Wrocław, with an optional visit to part of the mysterious WWII Riese underground complex in Walim, if time allows (option).

DAY 12 – 19 SEPT, 2026
Explore Wrocław’s highlights, including the colorful Old Town, historic Market Square, and Ostrów Tumski, the city’s cathedral island. Visit the impressive Centennial Hall, a UNESCO-listed masterpiece of modern architecture. After lunch, travel back to Warsaw. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner celebrating the journey, with the possibility of attending a Chopin concert in Warsaw (depending on availability).
