The meeting started with a family dinner. Our client and her relatives could finally talk about the family history over traditional Polish dishes. It was also Kathy’s chance to speak to 85-year-old Bolesław who remembered the letters her father was sending to his father from America. After the meal the whole family went for a short walk and showed their guest the field that has been owned by the family.
The family spent the next day walking around Kazimierz and enjoying the weather. Before Kathy said goodbye to her relatives and their beautiful town, they all visited a local cemetery where the family members are buried.
